i would swap to darkside of Xeen and train. the Monster in Clouds of Xeen are very weak and you can train only to LVL 20! But on darkside of Xeen the Monster are very strong (especially Armadillo) but you can train up to far over LVL 200 and up. Key for some Dungeon in Clouds of Xeen can you only find it in darkside of Xeen!
Shangri-La is connected to the Fire-Sector. so if you cant beat the Monster there forget to leave Shangri-La to foot. Better is to buy a Portal-Spell and enter Shangri-La via Mirror, because Shangri-La has al ot useful Stuff.
I always swap between Clouds and Darkside to do Quest and get stronger. Tip: If you beginn in Darkside you are LVL 5 and then swap to Clouds you are a lot stronger than if you beginn in Clouds (only LVL 1).
