I though it's widely known that NATO is just a lackey of USA. Might be the reason why it's still active. In any case there's more going on in the world than is openly known, and those who have something to hide set a great store to keep it hidden from the publicity too. All the result of desinformation and people living in their small privacy and daily routine, pretending to know nothing and ignoring the fact that the world is going a straight way to hell.
