Have a nice All saints day!
Started this a couple weeks ago, with the plan to finish
it for Halloween. Because that's what this game really is: perfect
halloween material. The designer was right in the manual when
he said his plan was to make a good game, because there's
too much stuff happening to get bored. It's very easy in the
beginning but it soon gets more complex and paths get entangled.
I had to cheat otherwise I would not have ended this last night.
If I can give one big advice is to lookout at the Swamp very well.
I missed an important part there.
Also, keep in mind that talking to people, questioning them, trying words on them, is an essential part of the plot. If you find a maze, look at every single tiny room in them. Don't just assume you have found what you wanted. Generally if you listen carefully to what people tell you, they are clues for everything. Remember the words they use.
The Swamp felt like out of nowhere, and I think that's because my screen was a little too dark. You might want to lighten things slightly in the Setup
option. Not too much because this story is supposed to occur in a "veiled" valley, right?
I took the time to write this simply because I had a lot of fun, and I recommend it if you are not scared by retro graphics.
