I think it has gone too far towards the eye candy games. These days if a game has great graphics and an "immersive environment and stupendous sound", They call it a great game or this is a great multiplayer game. These games get high rating irrelevant of the actual gameplay experience. One of the reasons I love old games is they actually had to put thought into the plot and gameplay. Now they just rely on graphics and sound and hope you dont notice the game sucks. Bring back lord british and SId the knew how to make a good playable game.
