so mu guess would be that your isp's default mtu was 1452 and you used to send 1500. if you look on the default sizes of MTU, i guess you're on IEEE 802.3. but your isp network administrator is weird anyways, because it says that standard maximum packet size is 1518 bytes on that one

and btw i think this belongs to technical or compatibility or something=S
