Thumbs up I have the manual.

Hello all,

I happened to remember this game when I was searching for games to download to my iPhone. I have the original floppy's (4 1/2" ones), a backup copy on the later floppys, and my original manual with all of my notes.

I bought it new back in 1994 I think in the clearance rack of a software store!

I absolutely loved this game! Now that I have a Mac, I miss playing this game. I used to download it onto my PCs and go to DOS mode and play it.

Does anyone happen to know if it was ever made for a Mac? Or was it ever updated?

Anyway, I don't remember all of the tips and tricks for the game as I haven't played it in over 5 years but I do remember that I beat the game at least 10 times (you know--the screen where you retire...blah blah blah as the famous captain who found the Titanic)

I would love to play it again...I never did find all of the wrecks. I always thought there was a glitch in my 3" disc copy and it didn't copy all of the game.

The one thing I do remember is that you can't find the Titanic until you reach some "secret" level. You may have the coordinates in the beginning but it will not find the wreck until later.

Anyway...was it available on Mac? I'm happy to share my manual...

This game reminded me (okay i'm going to date myself) of a really old game from back in the old Radio Shack computer days called "The Sands of Egypt" At least I think that is what it was called. It was played by putting the cassette (yes a cassette) into the tape drive attached to a Radio Shack Commodore (I think) computer. It had no graphics...all written clues.
