Thank you Lulu_Jane. Lots of people seem to like that one.

_r.u.s.s., you have a commendable eye for details.
The door is simply a free image photo, applied to a meshed bump map, to give it some dimension. The problem you see, is the door image is a front view, while my camera was set in a 30 degree angle for the image.

My art theme and technique is supposed to appear 'gamey', plastic, but as real as possible. By refraining to use photoshop for post work effects, or 3D enviroment filters and instead, retaining the 3D model feel and utilizing only this, to get a cartooney effect, attempting to look real.

Most meshes are originals.

Playing with textures and materials


Deciding SpongeBob Squarepants should be 3 dimensional.


Simple Trees(not). I hated the standard 3d Pine tree meshes and decided to make my own.
Each pine needle is applied to a real branch. It took me days to make them and the polygon count is completely through the roof.
