Growling? Don't think I've heard Corey actually growl (maybe ones or twice). The way he's doing vocals is pure screaming, pretty much, with singing mixed in on parts (and then we have the rap-scream-things, too).
But yeah...I agree on the explicit stuff being stupid. I can't say I dislike it though, still.
And otherwise, the lyrics are pretty smart, which is hard to believe when you first hear them. I mean, many of them are deep enough for me to be unable to comprehend (although I've done so with some help
), even if they're explicit. But that's just my opinion.
