War Wind isn't that great, but some of the game concepts were unique.
I wouldn't recommend it to a casual gamer because it is almost impossible to beat.
I only mentioned it because its game features were unique, and created the "non-clone" but balanced sides, and didn't use the Rock Paper Scissors method for balance.
You could call it a "spiritual" predecessor to Starcraft by Blizzard.
