And to try and prevent me from coming across as the nit-picking, pedantic newcomer (too late?
): Wing Commander 1 to 3 including all addons had import features. Well, not WC1 the main game, obviously. Not sure about WC4 and Prophecy, but I think WC4 had it too.
Not much was imported of course, since callsign and kills was pretty much everything that characterized your ... character. Well ok, in the WC 1 addons your medals and rank were transferred, too.
Still, great fun. Import features always make sequels better, as far as I'm concerned.
