Why can't the internet give you superpowers for porn?

But we are talking about superhumans. Maybe the Nietzschean superhuman will be born on the internet? That would suck!

But, being serious, the internet has a lot of potential that has nothing to do with porn nor with commercial opportunities. Internet could make the idea of an universal library come true, and join humanity in a supranational community. Said that way sound very hippie, but I think that ideological frontiers could find common ground first on the internet and then on the physical world. It's just that internet is falling into the hands of merchants and politics, and they are trying to redraw the frontiers on that which cannot be divided, and earn money by selling the pieces.
