And i do understand that at the time UU1+2 shipped the 3d engine was a technical marvel. Its just...i cant even put my finger on it. It just looked wrong and felt wrong. Maybe it is also because i think ultima has to be top down isometric turn based. dunno

Yes, UU was a different breed. It baffled me as well, I was used to playing the likes of Dark Sun
