This may sound like a simple question. Yet I always wondered why it is legal to buy used games when no money goes to the people who made the games only to those who sell them. I believe that this is same gripe the gaming companies have with people being able to illegally download software from the internet because the people who should be profiting from there product are not. At least for me it has always begged the question of why I should spend money on a used game when I only putting money in the pocket of the seller and instead of just downloading old games from the internet. I think if it where possible to give money to the companies for the games of yesterday I would do it gladly. Since I cannot why should it be illegal to download them? Also with the esa still saying no to certain games still being released on sites like this because who ever still holds the rights to the game does not want to give it up but the only way to find the game is used and still used is not giving any money to the people who hold the rights to the game.

Now I am not advocating for piracy I just think that it does not make any sense to say it is wrong to download a game that you have not paid for because no money is going to the makers of the game and it is ok to buy a used game where the money is only going to the seller and not the creator of the game.Ok so that is the question or questions so I would love to hear your responses.
