So what is it?
My cliched answer would be Final Fantasy 7, because i love that game to death, i just hate the rampant unnecessary fandom.
It was the first RPG i played on my own, it was the first RPG i beat on my own, and it was the first game i'd spend 16 hrs a day on.
My non-cliched answer is a tie between The Secret of Monkey Island and Sam and Max: Hit the Road.
Both very awesome games, both i can pick up and play at any given moment and not need any kind of guide to get through ((even though Monkey Island does trip me up, but not because i'm lost)).
I played all three of these games when i was a kid, Sam and Max and Monkey Island were the first PC games i ever played, and they all have a place in my heart lol.
