For those who want to try:
To install the game in dosbox you'll need to grab command.com from MsDos 6 and put it in your dosbox virtual C: root.
Then the installer works. Go figure *sigh*.

The Installer for the game works with command.com in your C: root because it is using BRun45.exe as a component to the executable. This, in turn, points to <dir> comspec=command.com, expecting command.com to be in your root directory. The other thing to note is that DOSBox 0.74 (at least mine) is emulating DOS 5.0. Since the command.com you are talking about was 6.0, you also need to use a VER SET=6 00 to have the versions coincide. This would explain a lot of crashes for install and "incorrect DOS version" errors, although the errors I was getting were in Dutch(?), but meant the same thing. Go figure *sigh*.

The one I used and ran the b*tch successfully is CVS build 'dosbox_17.06.2007.exe' , mayhaps it runs in other CVS builds also, you can try it for yourselves, YA LAZY PEEPS that you are.

The game definitely does run with this CVS. The install should be made to run from hard drive only (choice A). Then things get more complicated, and I am getting way off topic for this thread. I do know what works and what doesn't, but I don't know why, or otherwise I would have better news.
Although this may be a game to be considered to be available on AB, the amount of posts that would be created trying to resolve all of the install / crash / running the game issues would be enormous.
I do have a crack, of sorts, for the manual-required copy protection, and a replacement file to correct all of the spelling and inconsistency errors in the game text. I could even write a walk-through and review the thing, if ever needed.
Otherwise, for me, game finished, complete, done...
