Guild 1 (aka Europa 1400) was a much, much better game than the sequel. The gameplay is more intuitive and the different parts of the game blend into each other seamlessly. The Gold version is available at
Gog.com.
Guild 2 was a real let-down, and I'm surprised to hear that they bothered making several addons for it..
