Still can't see how the sound is better in zsnes than snes9x. If anyone uses this, or cares to try both, it'd be nice to have a balanced view. I like the snes9x one for a couple of reasons. It allows me to push the graphics to 1600x1200, when I set my logitech dual action gamepad the setup diagrams my controller so there is no confusion as what does what, and if I could get the sound to keep working in sync-sound, I'd be a happy camper. Has ANYONE tried the sync-sound on this one?
the zsnes always has checksum failed also, no matter what sound setting I try.

oh i see sync-sound is a snes9x option. i wasnt clear on that.
you dont need 1600x1200
the sound options in snes9x are still rubbish compared to zsnes.
gaussian is better than cubic spline, and both are miles better than linear.. only linear is available in snes9x.
in zsnes 1.40 the controller config is a lot easier, because it says 'pick a button for up/down/left/right/right paddle/left paddle/start/select/then the 'coloured buttons' and usefully now, tells you what position each one is. i have a psx-alike p.c controller so it was simple to map the keys in 5 seconds exactly like a snes pad.
