And I think I tend to read more manuals than most gamers, at least for strategy games and simulators.

But yeah, playing through such story-driven games without paying attention... To each his own, I guess. Myself, I actually think both games wouldn't be that great if you took the great story out of them (and for me, SS2 owes a lot of the merit of its story to its connection to SS1). As shooters/rpg they're far from perfect. SS1 is very technically advanced for its time, and ambitious, but for that reason the controls/interface are overcomplicated bordering on unplayable. Equally, the cyberspace is an extremely cool idea, but I had to set its difficulty to easy (leaving the rest at normal) to avoid becoming frustrated. SS2 could be much, much better as a shooter, specially at the time it was made.

First of all i need advise for some tech problem:
- I play SS2 in full screen.
- I use hybrid 26" Neo monitor, which switches between PC and TV modes by remote device. Resolution 1280x768. Change possible.
- The problem is that i loose 6-8 mm above from my SS2 screen and i am unable to read messages above. Am i clear?
So i take some stuff and then use sign ? to know what is this.
This problem borns another one: My screen ( No SS2 screen) has tendency to move 20 mm left and 10 mm North which confused me. The second one problem disappeared when close SS2.

I will answer all Yr Q but what do You think bout the following:
-There are some stuff - MFD Game player and Swinekeeper?
What is this? Joke or real element of the SS2?
Once again- I do not read WT.
This fact will explain some mistakes in the my gaming.

@Tomekk
If my memory serves me well:
Hmmm...when i meet again Psi center will use my Cyber modules.

First - in right corridor.
Second - in middle one.
Third - in left one - UNN

@Japo
I will agree with You the SS controls/interface are overcomplicated.

O, i read logs and notes. Otherwise i will duno what to do.

@Master
the slow and painful learning curve and asking for advise
No, i will do everything to minimize any Q further..

Pls note i do not ask You:
Where, the hell is this Silver key, or where can buy good machine gun or AK-47.
My routine Q is well known:
Who or what is the final boss and is some stuff which is fatal to meet the boss?
Many times You, Master, do not answer me but this is not tragedy for brave Ilia Murometz aka yoga..

OFF
PS: This is my 78-th game.
