Yes :-) But in case of these problems, add this parameter to the mount command:

mount C C:\Oldgames -freesize 100
for example to indicate that your virtual C drive in DOSBox should report having 100 MB free. Most games don't check for available space beforehand and they do fine. In case they do you have to do this. It may be a good thing to include it in your automatic mount when you have one.

That really depend on the game. Often it's a reaction to not finding a file that may be missing. In other cases very old games didn't fit in one disk and so were designed to deal with this, but when you mount a folder on your modern hard disk that includes all files at once, sometimes it's enough just to press the key, as if you had switched disks in the same drive, and the game will look again and find the file that was supposed to be on another physical disk.
