If i am sure that in case of wrong decision My Restore Point option will solve
problem i imm. will delete Chrome, creating in advance New R. point.
We are speaking about W 7 Pro 32-bit version now.

You could use
Disk Cloning Software as
Backup. Please read
here and
here. They are safer, better and more reliable than
System Restore.
