I mean, Zero Wing was a decent game, but compared to the likes of Gradius, Parodius and R-Type, it was fairly average. The brilliant translation was the only thing that made it worth noticing. If it wasn't for the dodgy Engrish, ZW would have sunk without trace shortly after its release.
