Actually, it was me who told Wael to stop copy/pasting his automessage. I asked it friendly because in my opinion, it's very impersonal. It's not hard to just type: Welcome to th forums! , when someone new arrives and add something personal to it.
Our whole site is about being personal and friendly towards the community. Seeing the same message in every ''hey i'm new'' thread doesn't really back that up.
