dual booting is a tricky business that quite often runs into issues if something gets tweaked. I'm guessing that you would want to enter your bios and look to see which drive is set to boot first. Or moreso where the system is looking for an operating system first. Maybe also check to see if plug and play operating systems are allowed.

The thing that puzzles me though, and maybe this sis just because I'm not devoted to dos gaming, but it seems that if you have 2 hard drives and running both XP and 98, you have a high end system. Therefore, why not just use the emulators and say screw it to the dual booting technique?
