Moving at the speed of light would make an object's mass infinite and would cause them to travel infinitely fast through time so it is not necessary to move at exactly the speed of light to travel forwards in time. The closer you get to the speed of light the faster you travel forwards in time (this is Einstein's theory of relativity).
