I am a dedicated coffee junkie, and consume several pots of it every day. The main reasons for this are the taste and the warm feeling it gives.
Here I'd like to point out that last year I spent about half a year without it, and thus proved that it is not a problem for me. Also, coffee never keeps me awake. I can drink a couple of mugfuls before going to bed and still sleep without problems. Don't give a toss about the proven healthiness of it.
A fact: in Finland the consumption of coffee per capita is the highest in the world. In 2003 each Finn consumed 11,4kg of coffee, while the EU average was 5,43kg and the world average was 4,66kg. The second was Belgium/Luxemburg, in which the consumption was 9,61kg per capita. Following these were Norway (8,99kg), Denmark (8,15kg), and Sweden (7,96kg).
I strongly believe Finland has reached such a high position as the result of my personal actions.
