How about we have categories?
Like a digital art category and a handdrawn art category.
You can't really have the two competing against teach other, as the finished products will be completely different, and might sway people's judgement.
But, they have categories in art contests like that all the time.
Unfortunately, for you guys, that would mean needing to have two sets of prizes
