I found a way how to enable the compatibility mode in Win2000...
Go to start/run, and type in:
regsvr32 c:\WINNT\apppatch\slayerui.dll
...and click enter. (if you have Win2000 installed on a different drive, than change the c: to d: or whichever leter your boot drive is)
I'm not sure if you need to restart the computer, but I did that anyway...
Than when you right-click on a
shortcut to .exe file, you have the compatibility mode for Win95, 98 and NT4.
However I
still get the same "an exception occurred during startup" message whenever I try to run it by clicking the shortcut I made to the rpg.exe file, no matter which compatibility mode I set.
Does someone have a solution?
