Here's my two cent, which if you add to other posts will equal about 5 cents i guess :bleh:
Belief in the big bang theory doesn't refute creationalist thought. Science describes process. Religion describes reason and purpose. Science and big bang theories are how we codify and explain a series of observable facts, or the "HOW" if you like(as sly mentioned earlier). What it doesn't explain, is "WHY?"
Why are we here? Why do we love? Basically, what is the point of our existence.
The way I see it, The further we delve into scientific theories of how the universe formed, the further we understand how God created the universe
