Had the same problem with win ME thought I try to "burn" it onto a virtual drive, played just fine but now it crashed when trying to save (Lame game can't save to cd-rom?
)
So I copied all the game files back to HardDrive still with the Image Mounted and runed it(from harddrive), it created an little config file in the same directory so now the game will runn and save just fine without the image mounted but it produces an small problem when quiting, nothing serius though.
Maybe if you run DeamonTools you could save yourselves the trouble of a virtual CD the programm emmulates Copy Protections even without the CD Present.
(haven't tried that but it could work)
