Indeed PoP II is better then it's predecessor in many respects, and in general better then it for sure;
however I found the new graphics to have it's disadvantages too, like less smooth animations for example.
Personally I thought the combat in PoP I more fun too, but that's very argueable. I found PoP II slow to react at times...
