I found it was essential to attack the snakes before they get
into their final hunch just before they bite the Prince, the
Prince can actually strike with his sword quite a bit beyond
his usual reach when he is hitting snakes, must be some
adjustment in the code for just this case. They aren't as bad
as they seem after the intial disgust with them.
that is an interesting point, they mostly sneak up from behind
