My computer is to slow to handle DosBox, and since it is a win98 machine, with a separate dos install for pure dos mode, I should be able to do it without DosBox.
Also, I have tried all the combinations I could think of starting with go.bat, starting with xeen.com, starting with xeen.exe, starting with xee.exe, running it from dos so I could type in the sequence of commands that were in go.bat without actually running it, and running mm5crack.com before doing anything else.
And in each of those different startups, I ran through the complete sequence of password attempts listed earlier. And I did the whole sequence three times through just to be sure I had tried every combination. I have tried to do this as thoroughly as I could so my results would be helpful, but as I haven't gotten anything other than the knowledge that the crack doesn't seem to work on my computer, I'll give it's specs instead.
pentium 200MHz, 160MB ram, 20GB hdd split into 1.99GB dos partition and 16.6GB windows partion (since they always overstate the actual drive size), LS120 laser floppy (120 3.5" floppy drive that is hardware driven instead of software and completely reverse compatible all the way to pure dos mode and can use regular 3.5" floppies also), 52speed CDRom drive, 8MB legacy 2d video card, legacy sound card simulator card (newer tho still legacy but simulates 5 older legacy cards), 10/100 network lan card, and 56k modem.
And I dos is my prefered OS when working on my computer, as it's the one I know the most about with win98se coming in a distant second, so this is unusual for me.
