Okay. The path for the game is d:\spiele\dkk\save. I run "mount e d:\spiele. Then e: ; cd dkk; start

But i don't have D:\COK\SAVE, maybe that is the problem. :wallbash:

you mount E drive, while in config file it says D drive,
rewrite config to 'E:\dkk\save' OR mount drive in dosbox with D virtual letter ('mount d d:\spiele')

Thanks a lot. I can save my characters now^^ But if i hit "add Character to party" nothing happens :wallbash:

I say add character to party. He asks me from where. I say: Death and i am back in the main menu :angry:

it happens when no character is created, are you sure you..saved it?
also, i tried and it happens when the patch for 'save' directory is incorrect but the drive correct. im not sure what could you write wrong, but ll try using my config file which works for me:
in the config file, use patches 'c:\DKK\SAVE' and 'c:\COK\SAVE', in dosbox type:

mount c d:\spiele
c:
cd dkk
start

I did not have much time the last week, but i tried it out and it still doesn't work for me man :wallbash: I am sure i saved the chars, when i created em, he asks me save character and i hit yes. Goddamn just wanna play DKK again

I had the same problem but got it to run in the end. Can't remember exactly what I did but heres some notes I made at the time:

With Krynn Games Directory cannot be longer than a few characters otherwise saves wont work!

This can be avoided by running the gamesin dosbox, but must go into the config and change the save path from: c:\cok\SAVE to: c:\SAVE

Setup lines:

1: E = EGA graphics?
2: A =?
3: M = mouse, N = nothing
4: Save Dir
5: F = ?

Oooh this was a cool old game.

There is a secret area, available only after the main game is finished.
You can reach it by walking on the overlandmap.
