PS: i don't mean to turn this into another mac vs windows discussion, but first of all, mac is pc. and second of all, i work and code both on my windows box and linux box pretty well, it's only the name, price, design and commercials that make mac "better for work". utter bullshit

If you don't want to turn this into another mac vs windows discussion, it is fine by me. But, yes, Mac is a PC, by the way, it was the first to be a PC, but you know what I mean... And I don't think you understand the difference between fanboys buying iPhones and all of a sudden loving Apple, and professionals who depend on softwares that will run only in one or another platform. I do not code, except some really basic stuff for my needs, but if Mac are not more reliable, explain how I've worked with Windows for 7 years and Mac for about 4, and I most of my frustrations was on Windows.
By the way, I don't mean to take any side in this. I love Windows from 3.11 to XP, I'm pretty happy with Ubuntu now, and the only reason I wanted to run BioForge on my Mac is because this is my notebook and I have it most of the time with me.
