Thank you, Arete. I will try that one.

To the others, I agree, Mac is not good for gaming, but some of us need to work, you know? And who can trust a PC these days?

P.S.: Have a PC with Linux in here, but it is a desktop and I want to play exactly when I'm on my brakes.

we were joking dude=P
but yeah, #@#@#@ Mac.

PS: i don't mean to turn this into another mac vs windows discussion, but first of all, mac is pc. and second of all, i work and code both on my windows box and linux box pretty well, it's only the name, price, design and commercials that make mac "better for work". utter bullshit

If you don't want to turn this into another mac vs windows discussion, it is fine by me. But, yes, Mac is a PC, by the way, it was the first to be a PC, but you know what I mean... And I don't think you understand the difference between fanboys buying iPhones and all of a sudden loving Apple, and professionals who depend on softwares that will run only in one or another platform. I do not code, except some really basic stuff for my needs, but if Mac are not more reliable, explain how I've worked with Windows for 7 years and Mac for about 4, and I most of my frustrations was on Windows.

By the way, I don't mean to take any side in this. I love Windows from 3.11 to XP, I'm pretty happy with Ubuntu now, and the only reason I wanted to run BioForge on my Mac is because this is my notebook and I have it most of the time with me.

Meh, the way I see it:
- Macs use expensive hardware and charge a premium on top of that
- Macs use standardized hardware ... and charge a premium on top of that
- as a result, they can focus on proper drivers for that hardware.

Expensive hardware + drivers that have had a LOT of time to be developed = a stable system

On the other hand, XP and Vista are rock solid today despite having millions of different driver & hardware configurations. The main frustration with Windows, comes from people who spend next to nothing on a crappy PC and expect it to run like a Mac. Some Mac fanboys at work bought a PC at Aldi (a European store that is very very cheap) and then went to compare it to a Mac that cost 4 times that amount

Buy a proper PC, get a proper anti-virus, and you'll rarely have any problems. In fact, the Macs at work have to reboot WAY more than my workstation PC. Macs are not great on networks either - they'll often refuse to connect to a server until you reboot. Heck, they'll drop the connection now and then as well. When it comes to networks, Macs are still primitive. And of course, servers are always PCs.

In the end, if you want freedom of hardware, a smaller dent in your wallet and a much larger software base ... well PC is the best way to go. If you want to use your computer for making your own vids and stuff with integrated software, if you want things to be simpler, if you want to pay through the nose, wahey, Mac it is. The few programs thate are Mac-only only mean anything in a workplace that uses them.

Default Mac x Win aside, I'm stuck. *SPOILERS*

Ok, so I got the time to finally play the game again. Running on Linux with no problem, everything working fine.

Now, The last puzzle I remember from when I played back in the day was the hexagons one. Everything is fine, but now I can't get back to the room with the various tunnels. I got the new bat, the reflective cube and the baster, but I can't shoot in the room with no gravity, so I can't reach the other end.

The non working blaster is a glitch, or this is correct and I'm not thinking enough?

Think about it: O-ring. You have 9 squares. How do you make a ring out of it?

Default a few things

I have seen intro movie for bioforge on youtube, but for me when I play this I don't see that.. I dunno why

also, Is there a way to get the game completely in english? some of the stuff isn't english, like item descriptions in inventory, also the log books.
If someone could help me with this I would be very grateful, thanks.
