You don't have to actually do anything to obtain a copyright, they're implicit whenever you create something new, like the name abandonia. you can register them though, but there's not a lot of point - if someone else started using it in a commercial manner I'm sure there's plenty of evidence we were here first (like the fact that the site has been here all this time....)

technicaly you might be right, but should someone go and register the name "abandonia" right now and then in a few months sue you guys, he will probably win... thats how juresprudence works: the one with a better loyer (almost) always wins

P.S. I in no way imply that we have to register our name, because I don't quite see what other comercial (loyer suporting) structure would want it :angel:

As a charecter from Betrayal at krondor said : "You can kill me, but you can't eat me!" - you can CLOSE DOWN the site, but you CAN'T claim it, unless it's current owner decides to actualy SELL it to you. :bleh:
