A few days off or a vacation is nice and absolutely necessary, but if that "vacation" becomes a long term one it will get to you pretty soon. Then you wll go out of your way to find either: a job or a school to go to. I think we actually need something sensible to do. Without that, we dive into a rut.
Amen to that.

not if you have friends :bleh:

bleh

Actually you'll still need something sensible to do, like school or a job

yeah, but nicer would be a few days of school and then long therm vacation, not few days of vacation and then lots of work

hehe you try that for 10-20-30 years and I promise we'll give you our thoughts as you spend your time at some funny farm

i'm looking for a job right now since most of my time at the moment consists of sitting round doing nothing. a girl can change your life, for better or worse. i don't get to see any of my friends very often since most are working now. so TheChosen, i'd still try to make friends around your area though since otherwise it does get VERY boring (Don't let the fact they drink get in the way. when i rarely go out, i just drink coke so i can watch embarrassing moments happen not be part of it), get a job so do you can get your own computer (me and kura have a computer each so we're lucky) and try to get a girlfriend (Just make sure you know what you want out of her, someone to spend time with or anything more?). as for reading, try reading some mangas, their more interesting than most books out now (bar the discworld books) or try writing a story (right now i'm finishing a daria fanfic and planning another one) to pass time as well.

Some time ago when I was unemployee I had a problem what to do to use computer LESS!! I played games 8-12 hours a day...

It's addictive, so be careful about amount of time in front of it!

Currently I work in company which is a internet provider, so all the time at work I use computer, and to relax at home I play games. (If my girlfriend is not around )

I'm addicted ... and I can't swim ...

Hey watch out chosen don't become addicted to the computer. Remember there are other things in life. Remember a indy wrestling show is 3 hours long. So.... Burn a show while on the computer. Problem solved 8 hours of entertainment a day. (5 hours on the computer while burning the dvd +IWA,CZW,ROH and whatever the hell you watch these days. Or maybe even that chikara crap.)

By the way Tito, your days sound like heaven - although I'm sure the dwindling savings might be a fly in the ointment

Well, yes, you're absolutely right there. This is ending. As I'm desperately in need for money right now, I've accepted a job as an english teacher in a children's summer camp. That means, dealing with youngsters five ours a day, trying to keep them away from a swimming pool and some other cool facilities while teaching them english, can be a little nightmare.

Now, commenting on some earlier posts:

-Some have said something about a long term vacation becoming boring at some time or another. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG. If you have a bit of interest in life and curiosity, you won't become tired of having plenty of time for doing your own (that is, if you have the means to feed yourself and have a decent life). You'll enjoy it and ask for more.

-About falling in love, yes, it is an excellent way of wasting (or spending) time, but it isn't something you can search and find whenever you want. If it happens, well, that's it, go for it. But you'll have to build some kind of relationships before. I warn you, it can be heaven, it can be hell, but it is something everyone has to go through in some time or another.

-Please, find a way to overcome your phobia. Swimming is not marvellous, but it is nice, and quite a normal thing. I had the same problem as you when I was younger, but I managed to beat it and now, while I can't say my life is much better, I can have a calm promenade by the sea without a single problem.

5. Get a summerjob? I just spent half of my life in school and now I should get a job?!?

Firstly, I like you. You're almost as much of a nerd as me. Secondly, yes. Get a job. Then use the money to buy your own computer. Problem solved. LOL

I recommend you buy a bike and spend some time outdoors though. Cycling in summer is great fun.

Just so you know Chosen, I've always found that it's the shy boys you have to watch out for - and I mean that in a very good way

The thing is that Im not talking to you face to face.

And Alex, I do still spent my days watching wrestling. I get my weekly dose of RAW, SmackDown and Impact and I usually download every possible PPV. And sometimes I do download indy-event or two (However, I recently havent downloaded any indy-event because I was hugely dissappointed with the CZW-event I got).

Actually Chosen, you just reminded me, I've recently become kind of obsessed in the UFC, I know it's not quite the same thing, but damn it's good fun to watch.

Anyways, back on topic now
