Yup, managed to get the ticket on Saturday night and watched it. Loving it! Definitely better than Episode 1 and 2.

About jar-jar....I never understood why people hate him so much.
He never made me mad. I thought he fit in well, as all the star wars movies have included child geared characters. What do you think r2d2 and c3po were? Or better yet Yoda? Or the E-woks. Star Wars is a family movie, and it would be selfish to not include characters for children. Have you ever seen a child that saw the movie complain about jar-jar binks? I say in twenty years, when the next generation swings around Jar-Jar will come full circle around to the lime-light, and be appreciated for everything he did for the movies...LOL :P

Your probably right about the age thing, I think JarJar gets to me because of his voice and because hes Computer Generated so he is constantly moving around in the background it makes you want to grab him by the neck and go "STAND STILL!"

now that I have shown my inner psychosis sorry LOL

I contemplated suicide after I opened a Star Wars thread in another forum before seeing the movie and upon reading the thread I realized it had spoilers.

There is a cartoon series that link between the second and third movie, it just shows all the different battle's the jedi were involed in on all the different planets, it introduces General Grievous and some other weird slime person that can't die.

It's on a DVD it's an hour long and called Clone Wars, aparently there is a second DVD comming out soon.

Thumbs down

The movie was awesome!
some of my favorite parts were all the light saber battles.
especially the one with grievous.
but my only problem was this 11 year old kid sitting 6 seats away and taking so loud and disturbing every1!...i wanted ti kill him... :Titan: :ranting: :Titan: :ranting:

Hah, the battles were the part I really hated this time :eeeeeh:
Yes, I got seats in the front rows (couldn't get them far enough), so I couldn't really follow all the fast action - the worse part was the initial space battle. I got a headache... But I still enjoyed the move very much and I'm looking forward to watching it without having to turn my whole head just to see the other side of the screen
