I received a reply from plusnet about an hour or so ago. They told me to check if I am at an adsl available area, and if the answer is yes then it should be ok. I did and I am, so I will make a few phone calls tomorrow to be 100% sure. So far it looks like they are by far the best. 14.99, cheaper than all the rest and at 2mbits speed and without any limitations, that is very surprising now days here.
Do you have any limitations Havell? How is the connection and do you have any complains about them ?

There are no transfer limits, nor have I ever experienced any downtime or bulls**t from customer services. Overall an exceptionally good ISP, at least in my area (I have two friends with Plusnet in my area, they are as full of praise about it as I am).

Thank you for the info. Though Aber is not exactly Coventry in terms of broadband availability, it looks like this plusnet is the thing. I will let you know if I have any updates. It just sounds too good to be true.

that does sound cheap with no limits - i'm paying ?24.99 (i think) for 2mbit, and i'm not sure how much of an improvement it is on the 750k i had before. it's certainly worse for gaming through the modem than the set-top box i had before...

Although I work for Vodafone, they arent my ISP at home.

Our adsl, home phone and most of our cell phones are registred at the other company.
We have, if I remember correctly, 750mb limits on our internet. Doesn't really bother me, I use my neighbour's wireless net to download

Vodafone has an offer for people that have the home phone, internet and at least one mobile phone registred with us.
They get 60 free minutes a day from cell phone to the home phone, 60 free minutes from home phone to another home phone or the cell phones registred on them, 120 free minutes from any phone to a home phone in another country.
They get unlimited downloading

Etc etc.

Kinda neat deal!!
