the guy i know with the largest number of paki jokes knowen to man is indian.
actually i always hear the worst etnic jokes from people with colour in there skin.
racism isnt jokes man, its kicking people in the head.
most black people love jokes about indians an chineese.

This is true, I've never known anyone be offended by a "racist" joke. At my school, the most racist people are the indians (who take the piss out of the pakistanis) and everyone knows each other well enough to not take offence from jokes (they know they are just jokes).

agreed. its odd but only white people seem to take offence to racist jokes, and heres another oddity, how come on uk tv, indian comedians are allowed to take the piss out of the british but if a british comedian was to take the piss out of indians there would be an uproar.

I'm well aware they're just jokes, but I find them, perhaps "offensive" is a strong word, but distasteful and insulting to intelligence perhaps - there's no need and they're not funny in any way (granted, this is the worst jokes thread).

the reason black (mainly american) comedians and other ethnic minorities are allowed to take the piss is because taking the piss out of the majority is very different from the other way around, and for some reason turning it around is ok - look at all the adverts on tv, mainly for tampons and shampoo, that are massively sexist, but get away with it because they're being sexist about men ("for a change"...).

There's not a lot of uproar when bernard manning or jim davidson take the piss is there?

Hmmmm, well I had a pretty bad experience once. Me and this other guy were making aboriginal jokes in science and the girl sitting in front of us turned around and said she was half aboriginal and turned back around without saying anything else, she had a really sad face too when she said it. I felt so bad I never said anything for the rest of the lesson.
