Actually I think I may have solved it myself...
Anyway:
"Two slaves carry me all day
For not a penny of pay
I make them work as I think best
They stand empty while I rest."

No need to apologise, I think my mauling your right arm was an apt punishment for your offence...

Yes, shoes is correct.

The answer to the previous riddle was probably pottage: pot-age, you see?

Ok :bye:

Silently he stalks me,
Running as I run,
Creeping as I creep.
Dressed in black,
He disappears at night,
Only to return with the sun.

I'm no longer saying how many letter's there are. :bleh: (so there)

I'll try a 17th century riddle, then (I'm not entirely sure about the spelling, though)

"A mate to a ****, and a corn tall as wheat
Is his Christian name, who is musick's compleat.
The second begins with the grace of a cat
And ends with the house of a hermit, mark that.
His skill and perfection each auditor wins,
But the poet deserves a good kick on the shins" (I think we may agree with that )

I didn't mean this hard.

I think the first part is something like henstalk, or henson.

Btw don't worry i'll keep trying
