Yeah he mentioned awhile back that he wouldn't be doing 7, 8, 9, it still could happen cause I hear if a director actually steps forward and wants to get the go ahead to do them, he'll support it, if he feels it will turn out good.

who would play luke, leia, han solo, and all the other characters that are now in there 70's-80's? :blink: :blink:

I think most of them are in their 50s now, Carrie Fisher (the actress who played Leia) looks quite different now than back when she was running around in her slave-'outfit'

It doesn't matter to me who directs them, since George Lucas IMO isn't a very good director. Sure he did a competent job on the other movies, but he didn't direct 5 and 6, and they turned out just as well. As a matter of fact I haven't even noticed a change in directing style from one movie to the other, but I haven't excactly looked for it either.

Yeah I mean whoever directs it might be an issue I can imagine, I wonder if a director does come forward though, would Lucas give any input, hopefully he would at least be involved in that aspect of the movie making process.
