Yeah that's pretty stupid if you need to 'buy' someones affection, but if you really like the person and you connect with her and you're in a relationship, those things are more of joy than problems...

Well I'm not married yet and I do (still) have a crush on someone - and she's a member really.

BTW - We're getting married on April 1st next year (and it's no joke)!

Well, perhaps not going quite so far as can't be bothered, let's say "who is also looking for a casual relationship without spending 28 hours a day in each other's company"

also, what is it with people who walk down the street with their hands in each other's back pockets? anyone else find that posessiveness really offensive, or is it just me?

I wouldn't say I find it offensive, just plain disgusting. On the other hand, though, they might just be kleptomaniacs doing group therapy...
