You could also try to respect people's choice to believe, instead of putting them all down as weaklings.

Hey... it's my oppinion, just as well as they regard me as a hedening and a sinner *L*

To me The bible, Tora, Koran and Vega-scripts are good story-books, but nothing you should think anything more of. (gonna get flamed for this)
But.. how do you think of Darwins "Evolution of the speicis"?

You might not, but i've been called that quite a few times.
Anyway, in my corner of the world, we have freedom of religion, and freedom of speach, so i accept that others have other belifs, but i shure as hell doesn't like it just bc of that.
On the other hand, one of my best friends is a reverand and we still enjoy a good debate.

Well then I can say i've been called a weakling by an atheist and hate each and every atheists just for that.
I get the feeling this train of thought is indiscriminately implicating both sides of being evil.

By automatically shutting a conversation down when the it reaches troubled water people will never be able to understand eachother, imagine real-life debates being shut down just as candidates reach a controversial issue.

All religion is obsolite.
It was a good tool to controle the masses during the more primitive days, but it's role is starting to fade away.
We now have other tools to controle how ppl should behave and live (laws).

Take a look around you dude. Religion is not obsolete, it's still being used to control the masses. Look at America and the Middle East for examples.

I myself is not religious, and I respect religious people and their respective religions, on a live and let live basis. What I really can't stand, though, is when people try to force their views and beliefs on other people, and start trying to cook up lame "scientific" "evidence" to support their religion. Guess what people; if science proved your interpretation of the bible wrong, it probably was. Maybe you should rethink it, instead of coming up with this steaming pile of crap, which only serves to make the people who actually believe you dumber.

Edit: Just to clarify; I don't mean people who actually believe in God or the bible, but people who believe in this particular interpretation. My point is that the world doesn't crumble to pieces and God doesn't cease to exist (for those who believe he does ) just because the world is older than 6000 years.

Have I offended anyone? Have I not respected the opinion of others?
