only 6 cars appeared at the start because one of the tires suppliers couldn't stand for the safety of it's tires.

They could actually make the pilots run after their tires pushing them with a stick. I'd watch that. That's the best use Michelin could do for their flawed tires.

Well technicaly, Michelin ARE the best tires in F1. Bridgestone gone downhill a few years ago. Anyway, the last race was a bust. THE END.

The Michelin tires were good but they needed to be changed half-way through the race to be safe. This wasn't allowed under the race rules (where you are allowed to change 1 tire if it's faulty). For the tires to be safe there needed to be a bend added in one of the straights to slow the cars down but the race officials wouldn't allow this so the tires weren't safe (to stay on for the whole race).

@R Havell:
Rules are rules, no matter how stupid the race officials are. (Well, they could've done that, but the bridgestoners would've asked for something to improve their race quality too...).
