![]() I'm leaving this discussion. I don't see why I'm spending my time. I know what I believe, I know my sexuality and I accept it, I don't give a rats as$ about what some stubborn morons think.
Just a thought for you: I had a friend when I was a kid. He's 18 years old now, he has a 25 year old sister. Their mom is bisexual, and has lived with a woman for 16 years. So he grew up with two mothers. He was in NO way different than other kids. We were in the same class for 7 years, nobody ever bullied him or teased him for it. It was just as normal for everyone as living with two parents. This guy is really smart, he goes to top notch school, he's overall a great guy. And he's straight, so is his sister. Imagine, had his mother married another man after she divorced. That man could've been a drunkard, a druggie, even abusive. How would that leave my old friend? I doubt he'd be as great and smart and shining as he is now. It's not how the parents are, it's how they act. If a gay couple is loving and caring, I don't see why they shouldn't get to have kids, while people who are not suitable parents, don't want them, don't love them, can. There are orphanages full all over the world of kids who have nobody that cares for them. Wouldn't they be better off with a loving couple who would give them attention, love and everything they ned (be them straight or gay), than where they are? I'm off this discussion now. |
