will put on the link to the earlier post just for the hell of it. [/quote] so what about those who actually HAVE gone through reperative therapy and are no longer homosexual? And actually, I did read your topic on how their brains are physically different, but that does not explain how some over come it. Also, if something IS physically wrong with their brain, are there scientist trying to figure out how to fix it? For people born with half a heart, they repair that. They create artificial limbs and organs. There are pills that can be given to change your hormone production. Do they have people working on making homosexual brains "normal"? This goes back to my statement of how telling a homosexual there is something genetically and physically wrong with them an insult. Edit: Also, is it not possible that their brain is altered and effected differently because of the life style they choose to live? Men that really want to be girls take female horomones. Could that change their brain? Your brain changes and develops based on what you are surrounded with and your actions. For example, I love music. However, I am also very good at writing. But I don't like it, so I don't practice and exercise that portion of my brain as much as music. I volunteered for some demonstation thing at school where they hooked me up to wires and showed my brain on a monitor, and it was pointed out that the portion of my brain that is influenced by music had developed more than the portion that controls writing. They also pointed out that I am probably very good at math, because that portion of the brain controls both music and mathematical abilities. So my question is, if you scanned one million babies heads at birth to examine their brains, would you be able to tell which were now gay because of the differences in their anterior commissure? |
