if i was an old school abandonia guy i wouldnt leave for these reason:

1. Abondonia kicks a**
2. Your a loser if you leave
3. As a couple of people have said... your not making it better by leaving
4. I was here first
5. Some people here already think they are the sh*t for getting how many is it now? 5 or so veterans to leave.
6. Abandonia is tha ballz

7. its got to suck being kosta (or whoever) and watching your great site go to hell because the people you thought were cool just give up on the site and make it go to hell even worse... so without wanting to flame at all... you guys are acting like pu**ys... now get your a**es back into the forum and take up arms damnit.

Actually, I was under the impression that you had already left (after your desire of wanting to be banned.) Why you feel the need to bring this matter into this thread is beyond me, but this is also a good example of why people are wanting to leave. If you have little interest, do us all a favor and leave quietly, with out trying to get people on the forum to wish you away.

I was very happy to read Kosta's post, because it reminded me of the wonderful leadership we have at this forum, and it is these new people who are messing it up. I, personally, believe we should have some stricter moderators on the issues of trolling and spamming. I, for one, would be happy being the "bad guy" moderator if it meant it would help the forum return to the way it once was (hint hint nudge nudge? :whistle: j/k)

Again, Puffin, it will be sad to see you leave, but you need to do what you need to do. I hope to see you on Reloaded still. Goodluck in life.

amzed was i lurking away to see reamus say something i agree with. i think maybe the mods here are far to quick to close topics. it gets annoying when a good debate gets shut down becuse of just one or 2 *spammy* posts. also a lot of fire seems to have been caused over this conspiracy thread closing, indeed i was one of the people who was annoyed by that decision. becuse it makes it seem like we are not allowed to discuss some things. if you didnt want multiple conspiracy threads why not leave one of them open? just one .. also i think as you guys actually seem to be extremely strict. there should be a sticky explaining how you dont want threads on similar subjects.

b: 1 or 2 spammy posts
c: well i was going to put minor flame but then i saw threads *starring* indignous IV where despite flaming they continued to live.
still a: and b: remain valid

Those 1-2 spammy post will grow even bigger if we don't do something about it, but you are right in some point. Admis shall leave a thread open as long as there are meaningful posts there, even if is nonsense to somebody such as moon landing. I had some views on that but I saw the thread too late, so I cannot post. If admins don't want threads on similar subjects, leave the original open and noone will open up another in that topic I'm sure. But if somebody does, just close the new one and leave the orig alone as long as there is no high quality 2 pages flaming and excessive spamming in there.

This is my opinion. Spam is bad, flaming is bad, but I think most of the people who are flaming or spamming can be reasoned with, or at least I hope...

Yeah, you're right. But then I got bored and when I saw Puffin was leaving, I just wondered what had caused her to make that decision. She's one of the posters who've never given me crap.

And since 3 of the 4 topics I was involved in were shut down, perhaps we will see the demise of this thread soon. Just because I said so. :bleh:
