I've got a few random problems... it keeps crashing or part of the screen disapear etc... to make a long story short - does anyone know where the saved games are stored for mad tv as i want to re-install the game and not loose everything!!

my mouse doesn't work and i tryied that mouse softwear.
i have xp.
i tried also to run it in dosbox but the mouse still doesn't work.
can anyone help me?

For the dude who couldn't get the shopping list done, I've encountered the same problem and managed to solve it. So, hopefully it works for you too.

First, place the screenplay you bought on the triangular brown table on the lower-right corner of the Studio (it must be large enough). Click on the guy, then choose New Shopping List. A small icon appears to the right. ** DO NOT do anything else ** Just exit the room.

If you have even clicked anywhere near the options, he would say something like "Only one episode can be produced" and then you cannot get the shopping list.

You can now go to the supermarket.

I play MadTV (again) since a few days with MouseCTL and VDMS under XP, but after some time, there are more and more bugs, and finally the game crashes. And the game also crashes each time, when I produce a cinema show (I don't know the English title) and want to take it into the program guide. Has anyone made the same experience or is aware of the reason? Thank you all for your help.

You can't have TV show with 0 block(s)
check if you bought a script with 0 block
"Talk for two" is a pretty good show to produce.

Hello I love MadTV (know it as long as it exist). But actually I have the same problem as Norton. Under Windows 2000 the mouse doesn't really work

Is anybody out the who knows how to solve this problem?? PLZ!

Use DOSBos? or maybe VDMSound?

Í could play it with DosBox, but my Computer isn't that fast, so it works only slowly by emulating... :/

What an incredible game. The funny thing is that before I played this game for the first time (ten years ago, the least) I was just fresh out of Valhalla (Ragnarok) and I ACCIDENTALLY pressed J and Archie turned into a Draugr (this really tough green monster that killed me thousands of times until I became wise enough to use a switch bodies scroll on him and went straight to bifrost). I laughed my behind of for days. Anyway...

I have a couple of money cheats for this game.

1) Go to the Real State office and give away your studio. Then rent it again. Then release it again. Etc etc... You will have each time a bigger debt. But once your display runs out of digits, the negative becomes positive and you're stinking rich. Caution: Somewhere in the middle you have to leave the renting board or the game will crash. It also gives you the chance to see how your real state guy likes the change.

2) You can kinda cheat with the money you owe to the boss. Finish a day and start a new one with a negative over 50. Like for example -167. Then go to the boss and tell him you want to repay. How much? Everything. Your money will go from -167 to -17. However, your debt with the boss will increase.

Nope, this is a well known problem for many fans. Sometimes it crashes after 10 days, sometimes after 30 days. No one has got any solutions on this yet. Maybe you should install the latest version of DOSBox (0.63)

I have no troubles with playing MAD TV. I´m playing it on PII-333,32 MB RAM,S3 Trio 3d card with W95 and it is allright.I´m playing 74 days already and nothing like crashing the game or being kicked from my job didn´t apear. I don´t know why, but it´s a fine for me, after reading your problems

PS: Sry for my bad english but I´m from central europe (czech), so don´t be mad!

PPS: I´m not using DOSBox!
