I just finished the game.
It is Awesome!!!
I still think that Resident Evil (GCN Remake) was scarier.
I think it would make a good movie. Dont you???

Agreed. Altough then they should also make the movie of the first one too.

Hellooooooooo............. This a really very scary game. AGS is an exellent engine to build games. I'm using to to make mine. 10/10. You know the guy w/ blonde hair, last name Taylor. If you played 5 Days a Stranger you'll get this joke.

Check the walkthrough. It's downloadable in extras.

Alright, I've completed both games, and I have a few comments.

WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED AND/OR BEATEN BOTH "5 DAYS" and "7 DAYS", I SUGGEST NOT READING THIS POST. I'D HATE TO SPOIL SOMETHING FOR YOU.

Okay. Let me first say that I enjoyed '7 Days' much, much more than it's prequel. It had good characters (not great, but still the best I've seen in an AGS game), and the twists were pretty darn unexpected.

I feel as though '5 Days', while still a fun piece of work, does not deserve the mass amount of applause that it recieves on a daily basis. I felt as though the whole 'evil son's spirit possessing people and making them kill' thing got a little old after a while. And more importantly, I thought that the entire 'I can't get out of the house' problem was pretty freakin' stupid, when there are numerous windows (many leading to the front lawn) that could have been broken with a quick kick. At least in '7 Days' they have a reason for their incapability to leave the ship (since they are in the middle of space!). However, in '5 Days' defense, it did have challenging puzzles.

Now, to '7 Days'... I really enjoyed playing this game. It had much more interactivity laced within the plot (such as having to grab Angela's stun gun before possessed Captain killed you) than '5 Days'. It also had a larger and deeper cast, making it harder for the player to realize who was REALLY on your side (which is a good thing). The main complaint I have though is the ending. If the idol was disintigerated in the ship's exhaust, and if the Charisma soldiers said that the box was empty, how could something else have been in there? I wish it had happened where 'John' was about the set the idol back into the locker when suddenly the Charisma takes him away, bringing the idol accidentally onto the Charisma space ship and affecting that ship too. Something like that would have made more sense. Anyone want to input THEIR idea of the best ending?

That's all I have to say. Do you agree? Disagree? Opinion is always welcome.

Cheers. Phoenix911

The idol has been destroyed - but that does not mean its "content" was.

What I didn't get was how you a person can come out of your cabin and look at you, when their dismembered corpse is lying on the floor. Hmmm...
